You may take any of classes at any location no matter what county you have filed in. You may take the classes whether you have filed for divorce or not. We are also happy to take questions during and after class and we will file your certificate with the court. You may take the class before or after you file for divorce or custody. Children are not allowed, but you may bring a friend or relative to accompany you at no cost. You do NOT need to pre-register - just show up. Both classes are required if you have minor children, but you can take both classes together or at separate times. Cost is $35 per person for the Parenting Education Class and it is either $15 or $30 for the Divorce Orientation Class. To receive the $15 rate, you have to take this course within a month of filing for divorce (if you are the petitioner) or being served (if you are the respondent). If you attend the Orientation course after the 30-day period, the cost of this class is $30.00 (sorry).
We accept cash, all credit & debit cards, fee waivers, or money orders. Feel free to write us with any questions about the Divorce Education and Divorce Orientation classes at UCP@comcast.net or call us anytime at 801-447-5528.
